WordMatchInstructions for WordMatch

'WordMatch' is a game of memory in which the computer will hide a number of pairs of five letter words in lettered boxes.Your task is to *MATCH* all the pairs in as few moves as possible.

To play the game you first open one of the boxes by:

1. Moving the pointer over the box and 'Selecting' by pressing the LEFT (*SELECT*) button on the mouse.

2. pressing the correct key on the keyboard.

or

3. If using a Concept Keyboard (Overlay 20) press the area corresponding to the desired key.

At this point the box will have opened and its contents will be visible. You can then open a second box whose contents will --- hopefully --- *MATCH* the first. If you have been successful the boxes will remain open and you will score one point. If the first two choices do not *MATCH* both boxes are closed.

The game continues until all the words have been matched. At the end of the game the computer will adjust the difficulty of the task to your performance so the next game may have more or less words to *MATCH* than the previous one.

It is often helpful to adopt some form of 'strategy' to help in the solution of this task. For example, it may be easier to keep track of the words that you have seen if you open the boxes in a particular and consistent sequence - - such as working in alphabetic order.

Good Luck !!!!!!!!!
