1) Moving the pointer over the box and 'Selecting' by pressing the *LEFT* (SELECT) button on the mouse
or
2) pressing the correct key on the keyboard
or
3) If using a Concept Keyboard (Overlay 20) press the area corresponding to the desired key.
At this point the box will have opened and its contents will be visible. You can then open a second box whose contents will
--- hopefully
--- *MATCH* the first. If you have been successful the boxes will remain open and you will score one point. If the first two choices do not *MATCH* both boxes are closed.
The game continues until all the objects have been matched. At the end of the game the computer will adjust the difficulty of the task to your performance so the next game may have more or less pairs to match than the previous one.
It is often helpful to adopt some form of 'strategy' to help in the solution of this task. For example, it may be easier to keep track of the pictures that you have seen if you open the boxes in a particular and consistent sequence - - such as working in alphabetic order.
