Instructions for ObjectName

In this program the computer will show you pictures of a number of common objects. You should try to memorize the objects as quickly as you can. In this program speed is very important as the display does not last very long.

When the pictures have gone, the screen will show a list of words - each labelled with a letter of the alphabet (A-R). Your task is to scan the list of words looking for the names of the pictures you have just seen. When you find a word that matches one of the objects, move the pointer over the word (or its letter) and 'Click' on it to Select it. If you are using the keyboard option from the main menu then you can press the corresponding key. Whichever means of input you are using, you can 'deselect' any of your choices by merely repeating the selection procedure. When you have entered as many choices as there were pictures, 'Click' on the 'ENTER' icon at the bottom of the screen. If you are using the keyboard you can press the RETURN key to enter your selection.

To help you in identifying the objects, the full set of pictures can be drawn - one at a time - alongside the name of the object. This presentation can be obtained by 'clicking' on the 'Objects' icon at the bottom of the screen.
